Enabling a Mobile Workflow Solution to Improve User Experience
Business Challenge
Rio Tinto required a rewritten workflow system that was mobile-enabled and improved customer experience, as the existing system had default text which was difficult for business users to understand. The system also needed to utilise SAP Portal with WebDynPro – Universal Inbox.

The Solution
DalRae Solutions designed and implemented a solution utilising SAP Fiori to enable mobile access. Key components included:
- Implementing Fiori MyInbox
- Converting 25 key workflows and custom attachments / tables to Fiori to allow Fiori MyInbox to function correctly
- Enabling mobility by converting existing HR Timesheet to Fiori
- Delivered a Proof of Concept (POC) SAP PM solution with 3D modelling for Rail Car brake replacements.
